muro
Live chat for websites, hosted in Europe, with an AI you control, and one price for all your projects.

muro, as it is live today.
The challenge.
Chat tools often charge per seat, weigh pages down and rarely keep data in Europe: of the 22 tools whose legal pages muro read, only 5 keep it there by default.
What we built.
A 9 KB widget isolated in a Shadow DOM, in 12 languages; one inbox for every site, with no limit on agents; an AI that answers from your documents and says it is an AI; and email replies that come back into the chat.

- June 2026
The public API, email replies and the MCP server.
- July 2026
The MCP server listed in the official registry, and its repository open-sourced.
- October 2026
GDPR erasure for a visitor, and a per-site AI switch.
Your data stays in Europe.
Servers and database in Germany, a public data processing agreement, a public list of subprocessors. The widget never sends the URL parameters of the pages visited.

An AI under control.
The AI answers from your documents, introduces itself to visitors as an AI, and can be switched off site by site or run on your own key.

Reply from your inbox.
The agent's reply, written from their email, comes back into the conversation. The inbound mail chain is hosted by us, and the alert only goes out if no one is online.
